BLACK & VEATCH RETIREMENT PROGRAM Contribution & Match Policy
1. Employee Contribution Rates: Participants may elect to contribute up to 60% of their compensation, subject to certain IRC provisions.
2. Employer Match/Contribution Conditions: The Company matches 50% of the first 6% of each participant’s pay contributed to the Plan, excluding catch-up contributions. The Company may also make ESOP contributions equal to 10% of each participant’s eligible salary up to $305,000.
3. Vesting Schedule/Eligibility: A participant is 100% vested in the matching contribution after three years of credited service. Vesting in the discretionary portion occurs in 20% increments, with 20% vested after 2 years, 40% after 3 years, and full vesting after 6 years of service. All employees may participate upon hiring, except for foreign nationals working outside the U.S. and certain construction and craft personnel.
