SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN Contribution & Match Policy
1. Employee Contribution Rates: Participants can contribute a percentage of eligible compensation, not to exceed $20,500, and if applicable, $6,500 of catch-up elective deferrals for participants over age 50.
2. Employer Match/Contribution Conditions: The employer may match 50% of the participant’s voluntary contribution, not to exceed the first 6% of the participant’s compensation. Employees not enrolled in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Employees’ Retirement Plan can receive a match of 100% of their voluntary contribution, also not exceeding the first 6% of compensation.
3. Vesting Schedule/Eligibility: Participants are immediately vested in their contributions and their allocation of the Company’s matching contribution, plus actual earnings thereon. All employees who have completed one year of employment are eligible to receive the employer matching contribution.
4. Roth 401(k) contribution: The Plan adds a Roth IRA post-tax contribution option.
