UNITEDHEALTH GROUP VENTURES 401(K) RETIREMENT PLAN Contribution & Match Policy
1. Employee Contribution Rates: Employees can contribute up to 80% of their eligible pay to the plan.
2. Employer Match/Contribution Conditions: The employer matches 100% of applicable contributions up to 3% of eligible compensation, plus 50% of the next 3% of eligible compensation, for a maximum contribution of 4.5% each pay period. Participants become eligible for safe harbor matching contributions after 12 months of service.
3. Vesting Schedule/Eligibility: Safe harbor matching contributions and employer discretionary contributions vest at 100% after 2 or more years of service. They become fully vested upon certain events such as death, attainment of normal retirement age, disability, or partial plan termination.
4. Roth 401(k) contributions are allowed.
